By using original replacement filters, you maintain the W3 certification of your extraction systems in the long term and ensure maximum protection for your employees. If the captured welding fumes contain carcinogenic hazardous substances such as nickel oxides or chromium (VI) compounds, a W3 certification issued by the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (IFA) is mandatory in Germany for air recirculation, in combination with the certified filter of the unit.

SURFACE FILTRATION WITH KemTex® ePTFE MEMBRANE FILTERS


Only particles that have not penetrated the filter medium can be effectively cleaned off again. For this reason, they must be captured directly on the filter surface.

This is optimally achieved with our innovative KemTex® ePTFE membrane filters. They feature a unique microstructure consisting of billions of randomly arranged pores. The membrane is supported by a polyester fibre fleece to which it is thermally bonded.

Thanks to the extremely fine pores of the KemTex® ePTFE membrane, even particles smaller than approximately 100 nanometres are retained with a high separation efficiency. This enables effective surface filtration and ensures excellent cleaning performance.
