1977

BIG IDEAS - SMALL BEGINNINGS

In his garage, Gerd Kemper developed the first KEMPER product by hand – the source extraction unit. The founding of KEMPER GmbH!

1987

10 YEARS OF KEMPER - THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY

KEMPER already employs around 50 people. By 1991, the team has grown to 100 employees. This makes KEMPER one of the most important employers in the Vreden area!

EXPANSION IN EUROPE

The market in Europe is booming. To have a local presence, subsidiaries are established in France, the Netherlands, Spain, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom.

2000

STRATEGIC EXPANSION IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

To meet high demand and increase capacity, part of the production is relocated to the subsidiary in the Czech Republic.

With the world’s first mobile extraction unit with automatic filter cleaning, KEMPER sets new standards in air pollution control. The system features functions that are now considered industry standards:

automatic filter cleaning depending on the saturation level
mobile design for precise extraction directly at the emission source
almost contamination-free dust collection intelligent start-stop automatic system

2008

NEW PATHS WITH AUTOMATION!

With the Automation Line, KEMPER opens a new chapter in central extraction technology: intelligent systems for robotics, laser, and welding applications.

The product families PlasmaFil, LaserFil, and ArcFil are available in standard and Pro versions, offered in various sizes, and can be flexibly adapted to individual customer requirements and hall conditions.

2019

NEW IMPULSES IN MANAGEMENT

Frederic Lanz has strengthened the management team as CEO since 2019 and is responsible for marketing, sales, and after-sales.

RESTRUCTURING IN FINANCE

Since 2020, Lisa Scholte van Mast has been responsible as CFO for the areas of People & Culture, Finance, and Legal. An important step toward strategic development.

The AirDome represents a new dimension in extraction technology: minimal space requirement, maximum extraction performance. “Built to Protect” – our promise for clean air.

With The Hood Pro, we expanded our portfolio with an innovative, switch-free extraction hood. Control of light and extraction is handled intuitively via a double tap on the hood frame.
