From apprentice to management: Elisabeth Richter is the new CFO at KEMPER

 

Started as a trainee, worked his way up to the management: Elisabeth Richter is the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at KEMPER GmbH. With her appointment to the highest operative management level of the Münsterland family business, she is now responsible for the areas of human resources, finance and controlling.

In her new management role she wants to continue to shape the growth course of the extraction technology specialist: "I approach my new tasks with great excitement and motivation. With my responsibility, I want to set the personnel and financial course for our positive company development", says Richter. The appointment as CFO marks the high point of the 35-year-old from Vreden for the time being.

After a voluntary internship, Richter began her training as an industrial clerk at KEMPER GmbH in 2001. She then received a permanent position as a sales assistant, before she took on her first management position as a service manager in 2008. In the course of time she acquired more and more skills and the company gave her more and more responsibility. This was followed by positions as sales controller and head of quality management. In 2018 Richter was promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO). She has also been coordinating training at KEMPER for ten years. With her new commitment as CFO, she will now also become a member of the Executive Board. Richter has held her new position since July.
